- February 2026 media thread. ryona jam end imminent I guess. I am still watching/playing/reading things in between doing that, and other things. preceding thread bsky.app/profile/joyc...
- January 2026 media thread I will continue to do it this way. last of last thread: bsky.app/profile/joyc...
- urara in satsuki (2026) kirinkoumori.itch.io/uds so anyway a friend worked on this visual novel for the ryona jam and I read it and was insane at them while they listened to me react to it let's hear it for evil girls. evil girls. evil girls. (fictional) it's pretty awesome I think,
- Mission: Impossible (1996) this fucking owns. how didn't I hear that this first movie in these fucking movies fucking owns. okay. yeah
- Mission: Impossible II (2000) Tomathy Cruise Does It Again! anyway yeah I dunno, it's cool and fun. it sort of drags a bit in the middle with too much explaining of thing that isn't anything, but the last, like, forty minutes or so, the motorcycle chase, the beach brawl? beautiful. woo!
- Mission: Impossible III (2006) Tomathy Cruise Does It Again!...(Again) I guess I wrote a review of a sort on letterboxd but eh shrug meow yeah, Philip Seymour Hoffman, JJ Abrams is the American Steven Moffat who they should not have given all the cultural touchstones to, and this was a fine movie,
- Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011) Tomathy Cruise Does It Again!(x3) the first of these movies we ever saw. it still rules
- Durarara!! (2010) (season 1 and specials) still pretty damn fun. Narita is great at having fun characters with an attractively entertaining cool factor who are also various shades of troubled and terrible people
- Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation (2015) Tomathy Cruise Does It Again!(x4) I don't endorse scientology or anything but I mean it with my whole chest when I say I think guys like Tom Cruise are a net positive for society. better they risk life and limb in front of a camera than on a battlefield
- Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018) Tomathy Cruise Does It Again!(x5) ...this movie needed at least twenty to thirty minutes shaved off and probably some script revisions to work out what the tone of the movie was supposed to even be. i wrote a longer than usual review I guess. boxd.it/d0StFf
