- A positive i like to remember: with all the decades of free media platforming and millions spent, Reform 'only' have around 30% support, which is a pathetic ROI, but a good indicator of who Britain really is, i.e. the country isn't buying it, even after a huge effort and cost to convince them.
- The idea that Andy Street, Amber Rudd, David Gauke and Ruth Davidson are 'middle ground' or 'centre-right' is absurd. What's this really for? 1. own the news cycle 2. rehabilitation 3. make country-ruining right wing ideas acceptable But i guess it could help divide the right archive.ph/3JsIp
- Jenrick, how it started: Conservative Association, ‘political mastermind of everything’ How it’s going: “Tories broke Britain” (and he was a big part of that) Reform = Tories, the worst of them Want change? They’re not your team StopReformUK.Vote
- At this rate we should just rename StopReformUK.Vote back to StopTheTories.Vote
- If you’ve shared StopReformUK.Vote Thank you 🙌 It’s one of many important tools we have at our hands to keep out fascism in the UK, But so many people haven’t seen it before. It simply helps you know which candidate to vote for in your area who has the best chance against the Reform candidate.
- They’re selling AI as if it’ll be the ultimate saviour to humanity. But: 1. They have no intention of doing that, it’s about them owning and controlling everything 2. The only possibly way is through public collective ownership, let’s do Star Trek 3. They’re morons gizmodo.com/worlds-riche...
- Building movements around individuals can be very effective and efficient. But be careful with your heroes, everyone can be shit sometimes. (I know I can be shit!) So it comes with risks. It’s a paradox. Assume best intentions. Focus on achieving things. But the collectives are the resilience
- The reason the Reform trolls want to try and tell you tactical voting was about voting Labour in 2024.. And in 2029 probably try and pretend tactical voting is all about voting Green. Is because they want you to forget FPTP can split the vote and let Reform win MPs.
- The same people who pretend not to see the fascism they support.. Also just call everything they don’t like ‘communism’ without even a clue. It’s a simple script, but they’ve got us all distracted arguing with them about it.
- I know it’s against the nature of good people, and that might be the problem.. but maybe the good people need to take over and run the show from here on.
- We need to stop platforming fascists. What’s the natural outcome of platforming fascists? They’re legitimised. Even if that same platforming is calling them out. The very platforming itself suggests they’re legitimate. Platform answers, solutions, actions, and voices with integrity instead.
- He could have been disqualified to run for president as a result of an attempted insurrection, but no. Seriously, we need to start protecting our democracies. It’s not even hard.
- Now would be a good time for institutions and media to stop pretending neutrality is real. If they care about acting to preserve (and improve) our way of living, take a stand, help out, get organised, show solidarity.
- Omg no way, and they didn’t realise they were one of them? inews.co.uk/news/politic...
- Billionaire fascists will destroy humanity before AI does.
- An idea to protect our democracy: If you’ve incited, or attempted to incite, an overthrowing of you’re own government, using means outside of the legal democratic processes: 1. Any media should be fined for platforming you 2. You should be disqualified from candidacy for any elected position
- What’s the red line for US military leaders then?
- Just Tommy Robinson apparently committing treason, in effect asking for a foreign power to do a coup in his own country
