- Listen: because I am hearing this a lot from folks who are in caregiving roles with disabled, sick, dying folks, elders, or children in their care: You are not unable to do anything or unable to take action. Care work IS justice work
- If you are caring for and cherishing and protecting someone that capitalism sees as disposable You are on the front lines already.
- Honestly love the framing from Minneapolis because it's true: So many are saying, they're our *neighbors.* Why wouldn't we defend them? The difference between the Twin Cities and so much of this country is they don't have that asterisk next to "neighbor" that says "terms and conditions apply."

- Many Americans are terrible neighbors to each other, and that is why MN is striking everyone as extraordinary activism... when they are telling us that it is not. They're good neighbors! It's no wonder that "being a shitty neighbor" is the hallmark of our domestic politics and our foreign policy.
