View full threadVery fair comparison. VA voters can and should do better than Tim Kaine. But an even bigger issue is that the Senate horribly misrepresents the popular vote. Each state gets 2 Senators regardless of population. This worked very well for genocide, slavery & apartheid. Then it caused a Civil War.

- Alsobrooks represents those same workers. She ain't caving. Kaine is simply much more racist than Alsobrooks.
- Like VA, Maryland borders DC and hosts tons of gov't workers.
- We agree 100% except that I don't think the D's have a strong position now. I see their position as much weaker because they gave up so much leverage against Trump's approval.
- To me, D's weakness comes from shared racism with the GOP. If you look at the actual D's who cave, it's not the ones most sympathetic to SNAP or workers. It's always the most racist, right-wing a$$holes among elected Dems. No blacks.
