BITTERSWEET MEMORY: During Obama’s first term, I attended a White House holiday party. The coatroom was next to the family movie theater (now demolished to make way for that monstrous ballroom). Guests weren’t allowed inside, but a friendly Marine guard told me I could slip in for a quick photo! 😃📸
