- This is the piece of the puzzle people are zooming past that I think bears repeating. There will be violence. People will be hurt or worse. At scale? No. But even the death of one person just trying to vote should be an unacceptable number. Dismantling ICE immediately stops this from being a concern

- With the new Muppet Show special, Seth Rogen and company finally did the thing every Muppets fan has been asking for forever: They just made The Muppet Show again. My review:
- Protesting is a fundamental right of citizenship. There is nothing wrong or unpatriotic about protesting. These people would not be on the streets if ICE wasn’t attacking their neighbors. So then, being in the streets is literally an active protest.
- And I’ve seen a lot of these posts distinguishing between protest and what’s happening in Minneapolis. The subtext feels to me that they're distinguishing the protests and uprisings of 2020 with what's happening now. "We're not protesting, it's something more noble!"

- we should proceed with prosecutions with the presumption that the president cannot pardon crimes he ordered to occur while simultaneously advancing court-packing legislation.
