Cultural appropriation is not a new thing.
In my experience UNC refers to Uncommon Trading Cards.
Usually for a Collectable Card Game (CCG).
Many of these Acronyms can have different meanings.
For instance:

This isn’t hypothetical. It’s not about what meaning things CAN have. They copied and then decided, out of ignorance, that it means something it doesn’t mean to try to score some cool points among themselves.
