- It actually gets easier the more you do it, and I can knit almost as fast with 2 colors as I do with one. I took a class on it about 30 years ago, when classes meant going to the yarn store and sitting with other knitters.

- Just to make things more complicated, when I do stranded colorwork (as in the axolotl beanie), I knit with 2 or 3 colors at once, with the color in the left hand knitting Continental style, & the color in the right hand knitting English style. I grew up on English style so it's still my go-to method
