- I should also say that we are partnered with @creativescots.bsky.social Crowdmatch! Meaning that every donation will be matched by them! For example - if you give us £20 it will become £40 so even small amounts will add up. Thanks a million to everyone who has shared and donated so far!

- Thrilled to announce my next play PROPHETS which we plan to debut at the Edinburgh Fringe 2026. Sadly it's really expensive to do the Fringe and we are a group of independent artists so we're launching a Crowdfunder to help get us there. Please share widely if you can support please do.
- a huge week for Foil development
- good evening beautiful people
- paid my taxes. all my money gone.
- For no particular reason I'd like to share this video about access to trans healthcare in the UK, specifically England but the same principles apply to Scotland. Many barriers, years of waitlists, dehumanising treatment, bankrupting private costs to get around it. youtu.be/v1eWIshUzr8?...
- i remember coming home from primary school (in scotland) and going on the xbox to play halo and my (again, scottish) dad coming through and telling us to turn it off and watch the inauguration "it's history, just watch it" and sure enough I remember it really well. when the future seemed possible
- wearing a new fit for today while i file my taxes
- it was a nice weekend
- A beautiful day at @pitlochryft.bsky.social for OUT IN THE HILLS. Brings me so much joy to see a Queer theatre festival happening in Scotland. Long may it continue.
- I also enjoy the opportunity to praise some of my fav plays... the deep scotland literary conference will be forthcoming im sure
- Was interviewed by the Traverse here. Fantastic to have an opportunity to talk about everything from fencing to biography and the connection between the Cromarty oil rigs and Livi skate park. www.traverse.co.uk/news/10-ques...

- trying not to be too vaguepost-y but the past few weeks (months?) have been some of the most difficult I've ever had. But I can feel the days getting longer now, a little brighter, I hope to turn the corner. Lots of love.
- First day of the IASH/Traverse fellowship. Feels like being back at school.

- right that's the work on festive pause for seven festive days. i wish all the people on the half empty bluesky timeline a happy christmas season
- Reposted by Jack MacGregorSome of these redactions are almost like modern art
- in light of some funding setbacks, i am now pulling out all the stops to get a new play on at the edinburgh fringe next year (the best way to get over rejection is to seek more of it) so if anyone has any leads on funding please get in touch x

- Once again I keep coming back to the story of 7:84's Cheviot, the Stag, and the Black, Black Oil being denied touring funds in 1973. What followed were a series of letters and meetings that delivered a compromise figure. The most celebrated Scottish play of the last 50 years almost never happened...
- 20 lbs / 9.7 KG down in three months! Also been trying a lot of ✨️ new things ✨️ lately which has been a journey of self discovery for sure
- Disappointing news today from the Touring Fund. Congrats to all those who managed it, very tough to get touring theatre made right now. Current system of a single annual window needs a rethink. It shouldn't be this high stakes, this kind of all or nothing.
- Pleased to be able to share more details about my new play FOIL written as part of the IASH/Traverse Creative Fellowship 2026. Headshot by Josie Morrisson Young, artwork by Susun Miller.
- Thrilled to be appointed the new writer in residence for the IASH/Traverse Creative Fellowship for 2026. More details to follow soon. www.traverse.co.uk/news/travers...

- unfortunately have been cursed with an adjective averse name. you can't exactly describe writing as MacGregorian (sounds like a type of chanting)
- one of those writers who feel immortal, regardless of whether they are living or dead
- new fit for the ppp wrap party last night ✨️
- EIF programme from 1970!
