- I’m building some “new retro” electronic portable games, like from the pre-screens era of the 70s and early 80s. As a thee I’m designing them based on playground games. The first one was tug-o-war, with dueling pressure sensors. This one will be tetherball.

- The IDIC symbol the author got a tattoo of was conceived by Gene Roddenberry to create a piece of merch to sell to fans. Nimoy hated it. It was always a profit machine, it often wasn’t a profit machine for good people. But what it says still matters and inspires. Seems more emotion than logic. 🖖

- This man speaks TRUTH. I teach at USC and I encounter so many minds already poisoned by the false dichotomy this lays bare. It’s just as true for games, but in a different way. In games we’ve confused who we think our audience is for who our audience COULD BE, and that audience wants THIS.
