They thought I was going to be/wanted me to be... a boy.
I was the 3rd girl. They got a 4th after me, even.
My mom told the dr that he could have me if I was a boy. Jokingly… I think. I have 4 older brothers.

I'm glad my Dad didn't get a boy. The expectations/pressure on a boy child were too much. Instead, his girls got to dazzle him and blow his expectations for us, out of the water. Mom's too (she was born in 1937, so in her exp., women didn't get to do the things we did)
