My top vote for the Hugo’s was The Ministry of Time by Kaliane Bradley. The set up is that they’re testing time travel by bringing back historical people when they would have die. The main one in the book is Graham Gore (yes, from the Franklin expedition)! (1/3)
Jul 28, 2025 20:31It’s an excellent book, very engaging, interesting, and easy to read in the way that you forget you’re reading. It was almost impossible to put down and now that I’ve read all of them I’m really excited to pick it back up to reread! (2/3)
Graham is an amazing character and easy to fall in love with. There are excerpts from the expedition, and watching him adjust to modern day is really interesting, and I bet all you Terror fans would love it! It’s not the main plot but it’s a big piece of it (3/3)
