Jebus Fuging Cribes. One of the 'allegations' against Gaiman's victims being used to try and vindicate him is that she knew famous people, had hired a lawyer and had continued having a career making ceramics. None of this is actually vindication or contradiction of her statements.
This is the Catch-22 of being an abuse victim. If you managed to come out the other side in any way intact, then you weren't damaged enough for it to be serious. If you come out the other side damaged, then you're a not of sound mind and shouldn't be taken seriously.
