- To be honest, I don’t know … Let me speculate: Bruker uses MALDI to analyze ribosomal proteins and thereby identify microorganisms. The zombie cells I discovered are devoid of ribosomes. An identification would, thus, not be possible … The original publication: www.nature.com/articles/s41...
