- Unused Monsters, maybe they will turn up somewhere else at some point. Good monsters are hard to find in this economy

- Reposted by James CorcoranI found a bunch of old unsold A4(8" x 11") convention sketches. If anyone wants one, Batman & Rocketeer are £50+shipping each, the others are £40+shipping each, DM me if you're interested. First come, first served.
- Brazilian Cheese Breads or a close approximation at least. Had some Tapioca lurking in the back of the cupboard so put it to good use
- Unusually for me I have written some short strips without them becoming sprawling multi issue things. Even more unusual is I wrote them down I usually do thumbnails and scribbled notes and work as I go

- Some winters we have squirrels in the attic and mostly passes without much disruption. This year they seem extra noisy and seem to be tapping and hammering a lot combined with me putting a couple of old I Mac’s up there I can only apologise in advance for our impending Squirrel overlords

- Day 3 of Stramash lunchtime sketching , think I have a few more narrative ones coming up. Spent entirely too long looking at vintage petrol pumps when they ended up hardly featuring.
- Aiming to do a few more shows this year as I had a good time at Sequential Scotland. Probably smaller ones closer to me to start with though don’t fancy any of the big Hotel or aircraft hanger ones not that I would probably get in anyway

- Stramash ‘63 issue 1 Missing Teen, weird gangsters , Ancient Evils and a wee dug. Tartan Noir via Nigel Kneale and John Wyndham. Issues 2 and 3 out later in the year jamescorcoran.bigcartel.com
- Today’s lunchtime Stramash diversion is the inside of the University Cafe circa 1960 although I took a liberty with the Kidnapped Poster. An excuse to practice composition if nothing else

- Had an idea for a series of small square Stramash drawings called either Square Slice or Square Go. Went with a simple one today due to lack of time ideally they would all be a linked narrative but we’ll see

- When shipping orders out I am really conscious of the cost and offering tracking etc but I must say having bought a few things lately it feels like some are taking the piss. No one should be making a loss on it but I see some things twice what I charge and it just feels kind of bad faith.

- Nearly a month of the year gone already and not achieved as much sketching as I would like. With doing a few more non comic things I haven’t found it as easy to switch between styles. A few years ago I had a confidence for drawing almost straight down in ink that I lack at the moment.
