Americans have a record of duplicitous manipulation. Alberta separatists are a fringe group the Yanks want to use- like Russia did in Ukraine. Their methods may differ, but they're just as dangerous. The USA can't be trusted until they have regime change, and maybe not then. Elbows up Canada!
