- Reposted by James BennettThank you so much again to everyone who has donated or shared the GoFundMe! It has been so heart-filling seeing the care and kindness for our family. (1/?)
- Just a wonderful afternoon of reading for pleasure here. Let the kingdom envy and recline.
- Ambiguity, slyness and dissembling serve the fascist well. They rely on the doubt of the masses, the "middle ground argument" and those who've told you that you're overreacting since forever. Historically speaking, the fascist doesn't fare so well when in plain sight. That is my hope.
- This is a lot of fun.
- My standalone Arthurian novel, The Cleaving, is a frankly incredible 73p in ebook this week from Amazon. I explore this familiar story from the perspective of the women involved. It's a chance to try my work without committing to a series. Offer ends Sunday 8th Feb www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0B96NL726/
- Between the storms. 💙🌬️
- Quite the week under the evil red dots.
- Reposted by James Bennett2025 was another great year for African short fiction! Author @wtalabi.com recommends 10 highlights across science fiction, fantasy, and horror, from "magic-for-wealth schemes" to an unsettling religious organization (in space). And if there's some ties in there...? We're not complaining.
- Another storm on the way. Wind's getting up. The shuddering casa reminds me of this.

- We've had hurricane-force winds and torrential rain here. Landslides. Rivers bursting banks. Inland, an entire town has been evacuated because the "ground was groaning" and they feared collapse. The beachfront here has been labelled a "disaster zone". It's buried in sand. Not going out much. ⛈️

- Book edit finished and sent. There's always this emptiness after reaching the *end. I intend to fill it with fish finger sandwiches.
- Snark gets you blocked, especially first thing in the morning.
- A new morning ritual is to go block all the stupid fuckers who liked the post by that author. Yes, I do judge you by who you support, as it happens.
- Lulled by the howling wind, I fell asleep at 9pm last night. The casa was *vibrating*. That's why I'm up at the crack editing. It's still raining. Storm Leonardo is BIG. ⛈️
- 7K likes on that author's ridiculous claim of innocence/book promo on FB. 163 are laugh emojis. OK. 126 are angry emojis. OK. The rest of them need a check up from the neck up.
