- It’s a foggy day here in Northern Arizona. Hope you all are well, my friends!
- A photo I’ve never shared before from the Aurora Borealis on October 10th, 2024. This is a two image composite, one exposed for the sky and one for the foreground. I fired the shutter and I drove the car too. Good times during a rare night out in the Arizona desert.
- If there’s one thing that photos don’t do justice, it’s meteors. IRL it’s like “Oh! There’s one!” but in the photo it just looks like a little lens scratch 🤷♂️ but anyway, here’s my best effort from the Geminids on Saturday night. #Astrophotography #Geminids

- On a stormy day with much more structure and precip than bolts, I managed to catch this wild lightning strike northwest of Phoenix on Tuesday evening. #azwx #stormchasing
- Another look at the high-precipitation supercell that blasted over Phoenix at lunchtime on Tuesday. #azwx #stormchasing
- Sunset supercell over west Phoenix right now!! #azwx
- A refresh of one of my favorite lightning images of this past summer. Two big bolts touching down in Arizona’s Verde Valley on the evening of August 15th. #azwx #stormphotography
- Mammatus clouds over Interstate 8 near Gila Bend, Arizona back on July 2nd. #azwx
- This is my dog Gidget. Her 5 favorite things: 1. Family time 2. Food (of the human variety) 3. Chewing 4. Barking 5. Laying on pillows
- Gambel oak doing their fall thing. #Arizona #NaturePhotography
- Three photos I made of the Aurora Borealis last night near Wickenburg, Arizona. It wasn’t quite as bright to the naked eye, but it was by far the brightest and most vibrant I’ve seen here in AZ.
- Happy Fencepost Friday, my friends! #FencepostFriday

- Moonrise over the Sonoran Desert two nights ago. This is a favorite Saguaro of mine and I fear that the land it occupies will soon fall victim to the cancerous growth of the Phoenix suburbs.
- Stellar’s Jay, Northern Arizona. #WildlifePhotography
- 🥶
- Showy goldeneye. #macrophotography
- Happy All Hallow’s Eve!
- Breathing new life into old photos. From the summer of 2014 when I was obsessed with epic sunsets and wide angle lenses. #LandscapePhotography
- Tonight is the last chance to see the Monsoon Show at the BRILL Gallery in Phoenix! It's open from 6pm-10pm with free beer and refreshments ($5 cover fee). I'll be there all night with two photos hanging on the wall so come by and say hi!
- A few photographs from yesterday’s storms east of Phoenix over the Superstition and Mazatzal Mountains. #azwx #classicmonochrome
- On September 27th, I watched this shelf cloud rip over the Little Harquala Mountains near Hope, Arizona. #azwx #stormchasing
- Flash flooding in Indian Bend Wash / Scottsdale Greenbelt from today’s severe storms. #azwx
- Big supercell over the Phoenix east valley at about 2pm today. #azwx
- Tonight at the BRILL Gallery in downtown Phoenix, the Monsoon Show opens! Proud to say that I’ll have two photos on display. I’ll be there for both opening nights (tonight and tomorrow night) and the closing night on October 18th.
- Hate, deceit, and violence seem to rearing their ugly faces more than ever. The world needs our art more than ever. #PhotographersUnited
- This crested caracara distracted me from my storm chasing mission last week as it stood atop this saguaro scanning the desert floor for prey. #Arizona #WildlifePhotography
