- I inherited a mid-century modern nightstand and this 1941 copy of The San Francisco News was shoved in the back of a drawer in perfect condition. Such a time capsule.
- Some things that caught my eye: An ad for Joaquin Garay’s Copacabana, a list of Bay Area theaters, a list of restaurants re-opening following the start of the war and an ad for the redwoods in Humboldt County.
- Also, what is either an old KFC ad or an old bourbon at (but I can’t find any info on it so help is appreciated) and this little graf of “good news”
