- If you can't get a spackle tool into a hole at the right angle you can just put globs of spackle around the edges of the hole with your fingers and then come back after it's dried and add more, etc, like you're a mudwasp building a nest, and then sand the whole thing down at the end and it's fine

- I grew up in the top dairy producing county in the entire country and YEP. Diary cows stand around in their own shit all day every day. That brown mushy stuff isn't mud, it's cow shit. Incomprehensible amounts of cow shit. The air just ambiently smells like cow shit all the time, even in town.
- Watching eps of MST3K from the mid-90s where they talk abt the late-70s like it was an entirely different era and not 15yrs earlier in 2026 is surreal but also confirms the fact that the last 15 yrs have been culturally stagnant. Now to 1994 is not twice as long as 1994 to 1979 in any meaningful way
- I'm sure some of this is just me getting old, but I really do think that for the most part we've been living the last 10-15 yrs over and over again in a way that collapses the distance between 1994 and 2026 to less than the actual number of yrs that have elapsed. Also Angel's Revenge is a v good ep

- The movie waiting until after the chase ends to let you know abt all the agents covering it, and letting you think there are just a bunch of dudes in LA carrying automatic rifles so they can shoot at reckless drivers, is such a choice. For a moment the chase is allowed to become totally over the top
