- Excellent post, many important points made, including “… credit is the engine of the system. Without it, data sharing becomes either altruism or compliance. And compliance has a predictable failure mode: it optimises for the minimum required output.”

- #EvidenceWeek in Parliament is such an important initiative, bringing together the public, researchers and parliamentarians to discuss how evidence is used at Westminster. Includes training sessions for parliamentary staff on how to handle and interpret evidence – crucial step in the briefing of MPs
- This year, more parliamentary offices than ever joined #EvidenceWeek. It reached 1 in every 5 MP offices, meeting a growing demand for research in policy. From our reverse committee hearing, to trainings and policy briefings, a huge thanks to everyone who helped make it a success this year!
- Reposted by Irene Hames“Science has recently been the professed interest of just a handful of MPs… But this year, something has changed.” Our Director Tracey Brown explores Parliament's growing interest among MPs in science and research, and how #EvidenceWeek helps bridge the gap between policymakers and researchers.
- Opinion: “This year something has changed. More than 100 MPs’ offices signed up to January’s Evidence Week 2024, many of them immediately...MPs asked a host of questions on topics such as health data, post-Covid school attendance, pollution and transport.” 🖊️ Tracey Brown ow.ly/SuUe50XnJ5W
