rented a car for an upcoming weekend trip and: after 11 years of not owning a car and not driving more than once a year tops, I can say with utmost conviction that I absolutely hate driving and it's terrible
Also I don't know how to describe this but it feels genuinely surreal to have to say "I am one of several dozen people worldwide who are not American" even though I am in fact American. I am aware that it's a challenge to buy groceries in Brunckton, Idaho (pop. 85) without a car. I don't live there
