While I fully agree journalists deserve a decent wage, please, if you’re going to share links to publications, make them gift links or to sites that don’t require a sub! It is so annoying to see an interesting link and find it’s behind a paywall, and I’m not likely to sub just to read one piece. Ta.
A lot of the time individual journalists don't get any sort of money from the paywalls either; they get one-off payments when they write the article, then the paywall income all goes to the cites that charge you! 😒💔
