- My writing style is to do the big, important beats first, and then the connective tissue. The connective tissue tends to be where the good jokes and weird little character moments happen. Some of the biggest revalations I've had about characters comes from these moments.
- I've cut a couple of big moments out of my comic, when I realized that the connective tissue does a better job of moving things forward without it. It's like with Mr. Show, where a lot of the best jokes come from the in-between sketches. When you take those out you lose the show's specialness.
- *sees pre-bottom surgery picture of my girlfriend in a chastity cage* So just that part of you was a criminal, huh? I can see why you got rid of it.
- Every time I feel gender euphoria, Warren Zevon singing "She was a credit to her gender!" rings through my head.
