With so much Muppet talk tonight remembering there is this comic about how they did this scene.
So much work to keep the illusion that Kermit actually exists as a separate being and how important that has been…i just love it so much. So much about shortcuts these days absent of the human touch and then you are reminded of the power a Muppet holds.
Feb 5, 2026 03:49The trouble they had with this scene must’ve tested a lot of people’s inner “is this worth it?”. You need people to push through that because if not, how many little kids in awe would’ve been lost? Isn’t that about the most worthwhile reaction too?
