- Life is funny because some years ago, someone said the reason you can’t find your dream job is because it doesn’t exist anymore. A woman responded to that statement by saying she only ever wanted to be a lady-in-waiting for nobility. Then I wrote a whole book based on that interaction.

- A few years ago, I took every single book I had ever written out of print and unpublished the digital versions. I always wondered if that was the right decision. Now that Meta is on an AI book-pirating heist, I’m sure it was. I’m sorry for all the authors who found their original work on that list.
- I have a character with lavender eyes and shell pink hair reaching the floor. It’s strung with strands of pearls, and she has pet rose finches that flutter around to help her get dressed in the morning. P.S. This is Khalkassia, and she almost exclusively wears white wedding gowns. THIS IS WOMAN.
