Hey guys, PSA. So some people don't always use alt text because they're in the middle of their own disabilities. Yes, use it if you're able! But use discretion when blocking over it.
I'm legit unfollowing people who never use alt text.
You're literally typing on a text based app. So why are you making Canva images with little pithy quips and no alt text. I honestly don't understand it.
I wish folks would stop being so aggressive about it like this.
Me too. It's the same with returning shopping carts, plastic straws, service dog certification, disability tags, etc: some people who want to help get so aggressive they risk horseshoing back into being part of a negative issue for disabled people
Encourage, have grace, caution with assumptions
