- Now out in iScience: Alpha power indexes working memory load for durations How does the brain store 'durations' in working memory? 👇👇👇 www.cell.com/iscience/ful... Collaborative effort between @brainthemind.bsky.social and MNE-Python/INRIA.
- We show that duration storage mimics sensory items in working memory (WM): increasing the number of durations in a sequence – but not the duration of the sequence – increases WM load and reduces recall precision. Alpha power during retention indexes WM load, mediating the decrease in precision.
- The Cognition & Brain Dynamics lab is no on BlueSky!
- We are looking for an interested student to work with us during an internship on the interplay between implicit timing and hearing for four to six months (full time, including financial compensation) : brainthemind.com/wp-content/u...

- Zotero-users please help: How can I overwrite the ordering of citations (using APA style) for a case like this: (Smith et al., 2020; Jones et al., 1999; but see Albert & Smith, 2022; Fritz et al. 1998) – neither classical search nor AI could help me with this, and it really annoys me
- Episode II of how are durations stored in working memory: Besides replicating our previous findings, we find that alpha power reflects a universal signature of WM load and mediates recall precision, even for abstract information like duration www.biorxiv.org/content/10.1... 🔽 co-authors below

A Caen, les 25 et 26 Mars! Toutes les informations sur le site internet : fasteeg.sciencesconf.org
- Reposted by Sophie HerbstAnother appeal to OPM-, SQUID- MEG researchers. I try to find all people interested in brain magnetism on bluesky. Please respond if you identify as such or tag people who are. It's not a starter pack so there's no limit. Please repost and engage♥️ #psychscisky 🧪 🧠🟦 🤖🧠 🧠📟 🧠📈 bsky.app/profile/did:...

- First time I see 'childcare grants' at a big neuroscience conference. Kudos FENS! So much needed to facilitate this core academic activity for parents and enhance visibility. www.fens.org/careers/gran...
- If you previously read our work on 'Abstracting time in memory' you might want to check out the revised preprint: osf.io/preprints/ps... A curious mind (YS) found a coding mistake that led to a general update, and earned her co-authorship. I. Mangione, T.W. Kononowicz, Y. Shen, and @vvw.bsky.social
