- You guys, my kid had to enter 40 email addresses into a school fundraising platform. He didn't want to spam his friends and family with donation requests, so he found a law firm in Colorado and entered every one of the lawyers' addresses.
- A few things I did that helped me feel less helpless: ✅ Called my reps ✅ Made a donation to standwithminnesota.com ✅ Asked two friends to call their reps ✅ Spent time with family ✅ Donated an auction item to Publishing for Minnesota (🔗 in comments) ✅ Thanked a neighbor for being a good neighbor

- First two reads of the year. Loved them both. Hail Mary captured my imagination and The Wilds is right up my alley--wilderness suspense/mystery (if that was a genre). It's the first book I've read by Pearse. Looking forward to reading more.
- Stuck in a blizzard in Chicago in the early 2000s, Michigan Avenue was shut down except for the Cheesecake Factory. We were staying in an apartment across the street and had no food, so we walked over to an empty restaurant. The only other guest was seated in the booth next to us: Jerry Springer.
