- Man, I had some cool shoes with a hidden compartment when I lived back in Austin. I got them in a thrift store. They were leather and gothy rockabilly-y with big chunky soles. I didn't realize until later that under the insole was little boxes. Never put meat in them though.
- Sadly the boxes were their Achilles heel. Sort of acted as a lever and pried the sole off one shoe. I think I still have them somewhere. Always thought about getting them repaired. If I do I'll see about some jerky.
