- By all means have a pop at Buckingham County Council which could have worked to make this a footbridge, *but* modern bridges *are* designed to a 120 year service life and if they even take the odd car, then we really don't want the risk of a track incursion. 1/2
- Am I missing something. Is there not plenty of motorway schemes where passive provision for new roads such as a bridge or underpass box before any new roads put in? Sure people would complain if a few years down the line they wanted a new road but HS2 “didn’t have the foresight” to put in crossing

- I can remember people saying the Jubilee line extension stations such as Canada Water were too lavish and large. Now that station has overcrowding issues.
