Relentlessly burned out
- It's me. I'm the equipment
- Grateful for being a packrat about mix tapes and this Willie Nelson song from 1955, The Storm Has Just Begun www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZNO...
- I just sent an email so stressful my ears started ringing
- Please some one cover this song with "It all matters" music.apple.com/us/album/it-...
- My memory palace is just my house and it's a mess
- We are so back
- bsky email 2fa doesn’t work anymore Staring out the window, asking myself “when will my confirmation code return from the war?”
- I’m on PTO staycation, was looking forward to riding my new bike a lot, but now my knee hurts, probably from a slightly too high seat, after yesterday’s ride. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

- Reposted by Greg BurekAh, the millennial experience of “every time you get some measure of financial and career stability, the world decides to do something extraordinarily stupid again”
- How's it going at work?
- Incredibly jazzed that the horrible chain sounds from my bike were my mistake in routing the chain through the rear derailleur and not something worse
- My maintenance phase is coming up
- Soulwax - Nite Versions - That's just the trauma talking
- Black friday is going great
- Poisoning the well actually
- My router's power supply died and I got it working again by using the power adapter of my bike smart trainer. Real devil's bargain here, trading a way to keep sane (exercise) for a firehose of woe and shit (the internet).
- Reposted by Greg BurekA poem for my last day working at the writing center for the semester (by Joseph Fasano)
- Hello old friend
- Performance review season in a failing state
- My next therapy session will just 80% be explaining this
- I forgot that personal productivity tech has a pretty large precondition: being absolutely insane
- Over the past year, I had made a lot of progress with reducing stress and knowing the difference between things I can control and things I can't. Now I'm spiraling with how keep my son and family safe from unfettered information warfare.

- I rode my bike trainer for a while to stop thinking
- "But you can wake a man only if he is really asleep. No effort that you make will produce any effect upon him if he is merely pretending sleep."
- I spent too long this weekend setting up sunshine in linux and windows on a old gaming pc, moonlight on an appletv and crafty on a nuc in docker compose controlled systemd unit template. We ended up just playing frog detective.
- Reposted by Greg Burekhey dude, I noticed you attempting to carve a small space for joy in the face of overwhelming sadness. kind of problematic considering all the horrors
- Evangelion entry plug water bottle
- Now doing neglected chores as side quests to avoid a larger project Why am I like this
- Sort of mad how much I like this notebook that is like my college research notebook (it was $20 at Barnes and noble 🤷)

- Thinking about getting a lot of Terry Prachett books on eBay just to have for my kid to find when they are ready
- Trying to explain twitter clones to family members
- Impossibly disturbed by non stop TikToks of people getting hurt while doing the sport I love. Endlessly amused by reels of folks being destroyed in the sports I don't do.
- Me: sitting and reading my phone. Also me: feeling my empty pocket and saying "oh no. Where's my phone?"

- Reposted by Greg BurekTruly a strange feeling to have grown up with the internet being your refuge and cherished resource only to have it become utter shit and realize that maybe you don't need it and in fact can't use it the way you used to anymore
