- A huge Glossy Ibis influx is currently under way across Britain and Ireland, with large flocks appearing and all modern records for the species being broken:

- A pleasent evening watching the rising tide at Peterstone, Gwent, turned a little manic in the final minutes before the mud was covered, when looking through the Redshank flock I found a Marsh Sandpiper, ooossh, County 1st!!!! Manage to relocate the bird about 45 mins later

- Finally a day out birding !!! Thanks to @thewildlifeoculus.bsky.social & GOS for yesterdays trip to RSPB Greylake, Hamwall which gave us some superb sightings and even a Uk ✅ in a Whiskered Tern💚 great day to get miles in the legs, some Vit D soaked up and reset the mind
