i am not particularly hostile to AI use, but having spent a large part of my day refuting an obvious chatGPT argument offered by someone who outranks me who *did not understand the argument chatGPT told them to make*, i have more reservations about it.
having to argue about this shit when your job is on the line is incredibly fucking stressful if you actually do know what you’re doing, and one of the biggest unexamined risks of AI is how many legit experts and pros will just decide that the fight isn’t worth having
