these assholes were individually dropping more than my monthly rent on crowdfunders for bigot shit and were still able to afford travel, food and drinks to various bigot events too.
I'm not saying Rowling did nothing for the bigots - but the focus on her is completely unearned.
Unfortunately the movement made up of wealthy boomers who can cheerfully drop £500 to a crowdfunder can fund itself even without the super wealthy.

matches her own wealth given 99% of it is generated through merchandising, translation, film adaptations etc.
The actual work JK Rowling did (writing the books) is not why she can buy a mega yacht.
