- Our constitution gives too much power to the president, and it makes it too difficult to remove a rogue president. I haven't heard one single Democrat candidate propose how they'd amend the Constitution to prevent the current situation from ever happening again. Not one.

- Unfortunately, it is. The republicans are organized crime and they have zero interest in doing the right thing. If the Democrats won’t do it, no one will.

- What language am I speaking? They’re the reason we need an amendment to limit presidential power.
- We must prevent future Trumps. We need a constitutional amendment to: • Lower the bar for impeachment and conviction to 3/5 or even a simple majority • Term-limit Supreme Court justices • End presidential immunity • Prevent Congress from delegating its powers to the Executive Branch
- Don't just hand Democrats your vote! Make Democratic candidates promise to support a constitutional amendment to limit executive power and increase checks and balances. If we don't nip this power consolidation in the bud now, it will happen again - and it will be far worse next time.

- Yes, I know what’s involved. Simply not being Republicans isn’t enough. The Dems need to propose a real fix for these problems. Amending the Constitution isn’t some feat that has never been accomplished before. It has been done many times. Until the Constitution is amended, this can happen again.

- Of course. That goes without saying. So what are we, the opposition, going to do about it? We can’t stop this unless we put hard limits on executive power.
- The entire MAGA identity was created as part of Russia’s controlled demolition of Western democracy. Illiterate rubes picked up the clown suit that had been carefully sewn for them and said, “yep, this fits. This is who I am.” And they refuse to take it off even after the plot was exposed.
- Guys they are really, really not winning It sucks what they’re doing to our country, and my city especially God only knows how much damage they’ll do before they’re stopped, much of it irreversible But they are very much not winning
