- Kitten update: we’re home from the specialist and new tube is in and secured. Just gave her a small feeding and she fell asleep on me. I guess I’m done working for the day lol
- Kitten update: Welp. She’s back at the specialist having her feeding tube redone. The hospital redid her bandage too lose so it slipped out. Ugh. In better news, no fever this morning for the first time in about 5 days, she ate/drank voluntarily, and tried to have zoomies! So, yay for that part!

- Kitten update: still cycling a fever, not mostly lower than yesterday. Hoping tomorrow is easier on her. Here she is after her supper, treats, and a little grooming. She wanted to be part of the action in the kitchen as I prepared my own supper.
- Kitten update: she’s doing great! Still cycling a fever, but highs and lows are lower than they’ve been the last couple of days. She’s eating a bit voluntarily, and touring the house, and that’s all excellent. Our goodest boy laid next to her last night to keep her company. He’s so sweet!
- Kitten update: her fever finally broke! Was 103F all afternoon, finally down to a normal 101.7! We just did eats, treats, meds, and now sitting in our palm tree because why not? Lol

- Kitten update: vet called and my girl is now doing so well I can bring her home! Going to pick her up in a couple hours and get her home where she belongs!

- Kitten update: My girl is doing great despite numbskull vet last night messing her up. Saw her today. She was bright, active, demanded pets, and sat down to groom her leg! Vet had taken her off her needed steroid and she started a fever yesterday that got to 105.1 today. Steroid back on board.

- Good to see that many Dem elected officials now want to be seen getting involved in the cases of immigrants who have been wrongly detained by ICE. Let's spare a word for @vanhollen.senate.gov, who did this for Kilmar Abrego Garcia back when wise pundits said this was politically dangerous.
- Kitten update: my girl doing so well they they can discharge her! But, given her she’s not that far past fragile, I’m keeping her at hospital another night. 4 different vets all now say if she keeps this positive trajectory another 5-7 days, she’ll be 95% chance for full FIP recovery.
- Kitten update: GREAT NEWS!!! Hospital vet says crisis over. Blood levels already rebounding, and looks like her hematocrit is stable (no longer declining), which means she just needs the inflammatory lung edema to improve which they think is starting to happen. They said they’re very optimistic!
- Kitten update: as rough as my girl looks right now, this is 10x better than how she looked yesterday. I got to give her some chin scritches which she leaned into, and she sat up trying to follow me when it was time to go. That part sucked, but I am so glad she’s feeling and breathing better!
