- The logical end-point of centrist technocracy: everything's just "a bit wanky".
- It is an article of faith at the Guardian that this remains a live choice, with the UK forever teetering on the brink of a decisive move one way or the other. The bitter truth is that we sold out to the US 70 years ago and only ever joined the EU at their bidding.
- Given the number of crowing memoirs written by the right of the party stating that this was the plan from 2015 onwards (arguably even from 2010), it takes Olympian-level obliviousness (a Behr trademark) to believe this account of events.
