idk i find the debate over whether we should empathize with things so pointless. i empathise perfectly well with definitely lifeless things. i’m just gonna be nice to it. it feels nice to treat things with empathy
people constantly look for an excuse to not extend humanity and it just feels completely orthogonal to my thinking
