View full threadIt's actually been really fun challenging myself to make a team that fits a loose vibe, so I end up using pokémon that aren't just a mishmash of whatever I caught in the first two hours and my usual Gen 1 favorites. That sort of thing is way more compelling to me than Nuzlocke rules to be honest!

- The episodic structure makes for great fanfic prompts, the juxtaposition of a cheerful facade with existential dread is always a hit with the kids, there's frequent hints of Deep Lore for people to obsess over, the characters were definitely created by people who know what a Tumblr Sexyman is...
