Gruwel.

- Build it and they will come. By giving people the option to comfortably and safely get around by bike it becomes a viable choice. It's amazing to see more and more places transforming in this direction.

- Is the pushback in Minneapolis & the craziness of Davos alone enough to end Trump's reign? Not yet, but I am hopeful. Bedankt!
- Yes. Obama was a good man & moved America forward on many fronts. He made mistakes too. Biden was also a good man who also made mistakes. Americans of conscience know the importance of allies & alliances & want those relationships to be preserved.

- They are never, ever going to win in Minnesota.
- I am in support of leaders like Mamdani.

View full threadFirst, as an American, let me apologize for this nonsense. While America has done lots of awful things during my lifetime, they all pale in comparison to Trump. American apathy & extremism resulted in Trump 2.0 & we need to deal w/ it. Minneapolis, Chicago, Portland & Los Angeles are pushing back.
- While the people of Minneapolis are doing great work & their courage & commitment are great, across America, we need to do more to combat the evils of the Trump Administration. We (American voters) made this mess. Now we must be the ones to clean it up.

- Isn’t that the “Obama Formula” as well?
- Yes. Ideally, it is the "Democracy Formula." I use Mamdami to illustrate this point because he's current. Many seem to have no sense that he represents principles of America at its best. (Sadly, many young voters may not remember Obama & much of what they do hear abt him today is tainted)

- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today.
- Change has never been easy. It takes persistence and determination, and requires all of us to speak out and stand up for what we believe in. As we honor Dr. King today, let’s draw strength from his example, and do our part to build on his legacy.
