- Came around on Heated Rivalry by like episode 4, and while it's no QAF:US, it's pretty special and I'm glad it exists. Now we just need another 200 different queer shows of different tones please. Smacks the table. Smacks it harder. Did I say 200 I mean 2000
- Progressing slowly, but nothing in cross-stitch really happens all that fast!

- After 15 farms and 2,000+ hours it is finally time to do my Joja Farm run in Stardew Valley. So I chose the beach farm as well, might as well, lol.

Would the product inspire new Seinfeld plots? (NFTs, AI chatbots, crypto currency, blindboxes, metaverse land sales) Bad tech.

- That feeling of slowly becoming a gas after eating a quantity of Fruit Tingles that is frankly dangerous to all of humanity

- Felt cute, spent the night in the hospital. Came home, fires started up again. Gonna gently say it’s very hard to sleep through constant helicopters and sirens.
- *me staring at my spiked temperature and thinking about the dizzy spell I had earlier and making the grimace-face emoji like 'uh....'* I swear to god. You better not, body.
- Helitacs are amazing. But also loud. Toby is over it lol.
- It’s so destructive but still kind of pretty. This is happening at the park we always walk Toby in and I can still hear the helitacs groaning overhead.
- Just one of those days I guess… (we’re safe, but very near the evacuation zone so keeping an eye on it!)
- I'm just gonna say it now: AO3's new forced metatag policy with an extremely difficult, clunky way to avoid being siloed into fandom metatags is actually ultra shitty, not user friendly, and really hostile to anyone who thinks say, MDZS and The Untamed *is* quite distinct.
- It's just wild to me that something can literally rewire my entire internal blood/heart circuitry for an indeterminate amount of time going forward. Something that was genetic - medication resistant hypertension - that has severely impacted my father and Opa, and in me, it's just...said goodbye.
- Down to a quarter Irbesartan and my blood pressure this morning was punching at 113/74, which is nice and normal, except if I'd shown this 2 months ago my GP would have been worried about how low it was in the absence of meds. Sorry for posting about this so much, it's just a profound weird change
- There's a lot of other things in Post Sepsis Syndrome, and just post sepsis in general. It looks like I'm going to have to keep an eye on a lot of my body's processes. This morning I woke up *knowing* my blood pressure was low. Today's was 107/75 after activity/eating/showering, which...yeah.
- So, it looks like my high blood pressure has been absolutely destroyed by sepsis. I didn't know this was a long term side-effect, but apparently hypotension from sepsis (along with heart damage) can last anywhere from weeks, to months, to permanently.
- Reposted by Mx Pia Foxhallstop using AI to do your research. it hallucinates too often. if you want an answer to something, post something arrogant on the appropriate subreddit. something like: "this item performs 10% better than everything else. only idiots deny this." this will bait nerds into doing your research for you.

- Reposted by Mx Pia FoxhallGentle reminder that disabled and marginalized people can’t “just leave” to escape fascism. Many are too sick to go anywhere. Other countries won’t accept disabled people. Leaving is not the solution. People are scared. Leave no one behind.
- My server is affected by the @discordsupport.bsky.social bug that locks everyone (including me) out from posting in a single popular channel but not the rest. No signs of a fix hours later, and I believe it's affecting DMs for people too? x.x
- Just measured my blood pressure and welp, I definitely don't think I'm safe enough to scale back up to my full-dose anti-hypertensives yet, which is a bit scary. Is that sepsis, or has my hypertension actually improved over the years with lifestyle changes? Time will tell I guess?
- One of my favourite things to call myself when I'm unhappy or sad is a 'Sadface McGee' and I've been living up to that lately. January 2026 has been hard for a lot of us for many reasons though, it's not just me. Maybe it's silly to hope the year is front-loading all the sadness.
- Got hit with a level of fatigue today that made me think I needed to go back to hospital (it coincided with a lot of other symptoms too). After about 8 hours of sleep I seem to be doing better, but I think maybe the exertion of visiting the doctor and getting bloods done? Scary.

- Today my GI tract made it clear that the antibiotics have absolutely destroyed my gut microbiome and um, well, anyway. I'm looking forward to getting the good bacteria back, lol. Anyway, it's well past midnight, what am I doing! It's bedtime. Happy to have written today though c:
- Just had to do a facescan to verify my age via Bluesky (I refuse to use legal ID or my credit card, given how data patchy everything to do with Australia is in general). *sighs* I miss the free internet so much.

- It's been good to be home. Definitely still recovering. It's been difficult to wrangle my head around the past week and I'm in a strange kind of non-space, still painfully aware that every hour and second feels...like extra, like time I shouldn't have, while aware I could back-slide any moment.

- You don't need hospital sepsis, you can have sepsis at home just fine. (I've been discharged. So now I have sepsis at home! But it's sloooooowly resolving).
- Starting to think my body might not be strong enough to fight this :/
- CRP is still at 200 so no ETA on discharge atm because that’s still ‘high chance of death’ levels (it’s been like this for 5 days) - she (doctor today) said it’s coming down but way way slower than they were hoping for, which is, of course, not great. They won’t let me go until it’s at least 100
- So Glen asked today, in the tone of someone who might have forgotten: ‘have you ever been this close to death since I’ve known you?’ and without hesitation I said ‘no. The last time it was like this, it was 2000 & I was facing the surgery, where I had bad odds of surviving.’ Weird, really.
