- For the final part of the conference, our fantastic panellists Fran Bernhardt, Mark Petticrew, Oliver Mytton and Maria Castellina will be discussing how we can tackle the commercial determinants of health through local and regional action. #FoodActive2025
- The final part of the conference will be focusing on the commercial determinants of health, kicking off with a keynote from Mark Petticrew on why commercial influences are impacting on the ability for local authorities to create healthier places. #FoodActive2025
- Last but not least, we are hearing from Ewan Maule, who will be speaking about the ongoing work in North East and North Cumbria to embed the declaration in the ICB. #FoodActive2025
- Next, we are hearing from Ceriann Tunnah, who will be sharing the fantastic work going on in schools across Cheshire and Merseyside through the School’s pledge. #FoodActive2025
- First up we have Debbie Watson, Director of Public Health for Warrington Borough Council, who will be speaking about their approach to adopting the declaration, with support from six local partners. #FoodActive2025
- After a quick break we kick off the case studies section of the conference, which will focus on different approaches and settings adopting and implementing the declaration. #FoodActive2025
- Next up we have Cllr Lisa Denson from Cheshire West and Chester Council, who will be talking about the important role Elected members can play in influencing local system change. #FoodActive2025
