- Congratulations to @themerl.bsky.social public programming and front of house team. Kudos to the folks who our led public-facing work in the past. Thanks to 7 decades of Museum-goers. Without you, we're a lonely shed of old rural guff, but with you we're a thriving community of smock-loving legends!

- More to come but @joebeale.bsky.social @garrypogson.bsky.social Wall on the wall With white stag SW corner of #blackheath. Seems settled. Just so you know. #butterflies @ukbutterflies.bsky.social 1st one in 36 years of being here. Very 😎😎

- To keep fragile or small items protected, some of our material is stored in boxes like these. This tiny ‘Book of Nouns’ from 1800 may seem normal size on the shelf, but in reality it’s only 6cm tall! [C.C. 423 BOO]
- Not sure we can beat a thumbnail sized, tin dwelling Galileo, but we will take the bonus points for the hedgehog regardless!
- Tomorrow! If you're in Reading, join us to celebrate International Mother Language Day at the University of Reading's London Road campus (right by The MERL)!
