Bad jokes & bad opinions about music & gaming. Consider muting #TOTP. He/him.
- "Blame It On The Weatherman" is so, so excellent. If it was by The Sundays or something you'd love it #TOTP
- "When The Going Gets Tough The Tough Get Going" an exemplar of the songwriting technique "I've thought of a great song title which will also make a good chorus, now to write a bunch of unrelated filler for the verses in between" #TOTP

- I had a listen to Up the other day because I've been moderately enjoying the singles from it on #TOTP. I would say that the singles were well-chosen.

- Has Lee just turned up in his pyjamas? #TOTP
- I'm buying a ticket for the Charing Cross Theatre and the checkout form asks for your title but not any of the rest of your name.
- It's a shame that "The Stripper" is by a mid-c20th composer who gave it that name, because it would be funny if it was originally incidental music to a ballet by some 1800s French dude, and especially funny if you got to "Vincent and the Doctor" him about how he's remembered today.
- Me: "Why is he [Ronan] doing a weird voice?" Partner: "That's his voice" #TOTP
- "Tender" would be greatly improved if it had a video about a wee orange juice carton fella or summat #TOTP
- Until I heard it (for the first time) on these repeats, I had it in my head that "It's Not Right, But It's OK" was the song used as the theme tune to New Tricks #TOTP youtu.be/FiEJWbik43k?...
- I probably won't remember how it goes by tomorrow but I am enjoying "Chazza Huge Spuds" by Skunk Anansie while it's on #TOTP
- "Strong Enough" is about Cher's uncanny knack for choosing good passwords #TOTP
- "Just Looking" by Stereophonics would fit in fairly well on Radiohead's first album, not that that's much of a compliment #TOTP
- Reposted by Frederic Heath-RennSuch an emotional song with incredibly poignant lyrics #totp
- Corporations at the end of Pride Month #TomodachiLife
- It's the anniversary of J.D. Salinger's death, so I'm spending it watching United Nations proceedings from the early 2010s, the first Knives Out movie, and the music video for "Kayleigh" by Marillion. A perfect day for Ban/Ana/Fish.
- Her eyebrows are doing 85% of the performing #TOTP
- Did she say "Awooga" at the end? That's it, my vote is decided #TOTP
- She's singing in both English and French, so less Alberta more Quebec #TOTP
- The working title for this Whitters number was "It's Good, But It's Not Right" until they realised it wouldn't work in the UK market #TOTP
- This Sister Sway track emerged when someone at British Eurovision HQ wrote "GINA G" on the whiteboard and then added an "S" at the end #TOTP
- They're all school-age in Sailor Moon, right? 🤔 #TOTP

- Next Of Kin are obviously shameless trend-chasers BUT their song *does* have a chorus, there's no denying that #TOTP
- Do I dare in fact dream that Queen Livvie's contribution to HELP(2) is a MAGNETIC FIELDS COVER
- Reading the rules to a boardgame and they approvingly quote Matt Ridley a number of times, so presumably the most effective winning strategy will be to run yourself into bankruptcy so spectacularly that you destroy the national economy as well
- A typically great article, though my main takeaway is that we lost something big when "runny-jumpy-avoidy" failed to become the accepted name for what we now call "platformers".
- Why does Zootropolis have a Natural History Museum? Wouldn't they just call it a History Museum?
- Will Smith turning up on this is like when it's the first episode of a spin-off and they have to have a star from the old show turn up so anyone will actually watch it #TOTP

- These are the times that try men's souls, more like!!! #TOTP
- Inconsistent censoring of body parts #TOTP
- Like a giant juggernaut, as opposed to those tiny juggernauts you get sometimes #TOTP
- I've recently started watching Ghosts (yes, living under a rock) and S2E3 "Redding Weddy" has struck me as extremely good. Finds things to do for all its ensemble cast in a very elegant way, and crammed with jokes because that's the effect of having lots of characters who all need jokes.
