It’s insane and it’s all white affluent yoga people in this town
I spoke to my late 30's niece about this. It would seem, for her at least, that not growing up experiencing what happens when people are not vaccinated was the biggest contributor. Second was becoming an adult during a time when "vaccines cause autism" was everywhere, all the time.
But we have known that vaccines don’t cause autism for more than 20 years and all you need to do is talk to a grandparent or read a book to understand how scary it was to raise children before we had reliable vaccines. Herd immunity is running out so I guess we are at FAFO part of the story 😔
The scariest part of this, is when they interviewed the parents of the child who died from measles... They said they were fine with their decision and it was meant to be. These people are full cult mode, paying to takw that koolaid
Can you imagine the brouhaha if someone said I threw my child into the ocean and waited to see if they could swim to shore unassisted. Unfortunately they drown, but it was meant to be so cool-cool. The measles death was a completely preventable but no one will hold the anntivaxxers accountable.
Perfect analogy.
Exhausting, heartbreaking and deeply stupid.
