I was going to reflexively say yes, but quick research makes the answer unsure. Blurry image but looks kinda like Colt 1911, firing 0.45 ACP which may be either nitrocellulose (which apparently performs badly in vacuum) or cordite (which should work better?). Knock back shouldn't be horrible.
