- You really should directly compare what you’d pay on Grubhub or DoorDash to what you’d pay if you ordered direct from the restaurant - the price difference is often shocking.
- I did an experiment with my fav local Chinese restaurant where I normally take out Pulled up the app and selected what I wanted and looked at the price. Called the restaurant and ordered. The restaurant is 7 minutes away, 3 miles There was a $30+ difference. These apps are a fucking ripoff
- Yes my typical Chinese takeout order is ~$45 and on one of the apps it's more than $70 I legit have a regular pizza place because they are quite possibly the only one here with their own drivers still. By far the pizza is not the best haha
