- I do wonder if we might eventually see *more* interest in text based media if we correct the whole “many American children weren’t actually taught how to read for a few decades there” thing
- remember that article about how we've been teaching reading wrong for like 30ys and only recently started to not do that? I think that would also have something to do with it. text is cheap computation wise so I wouldnt expect places like this to totally go away. might be lean years ahead tho
- Frankly my major interest in text based social media is that it's filled with other old people
