Random thought, but: I'd love to create a full set of "in-universe" illustrations for a book. Whether it's Feyre's drawings in ACOTAR or Ormulogun's paintings for the Malazan army or anyone else's, I don't care, it has so much potential! (dear special edition publishers, please hire me to do that)

Thinking more on Malazan, we know there are propagandist-painters following these armies, so even if Duiker himself didn't draw someone may have documented the whole Chain of Dogs events on dwindling materials... having the illustration style mirror the story would sooo cool (in a heartbreaking way)

Yes, by her and other in-world characters. The idea of a character illustrating the Chain of Dogs during the events to add to Duiker’s chronicle is brilliant and would add so much depth to it, though. Gives me shivers!!!
